This collection is an image archive of historical U.S. Census Bureau statistical publications related to St. Louis City and the St. Louis Metropolitan region from 1930 to 1980. Statistics were published by the Bureau of the Census, U.S. Department of Commerce, as part of the Decennial Census and the primary geographic coverage is at the Census tract level. Census tracts are small, relatively permanent statistical subdivisions of a county.
