Project and Contents Description
Utah Government Publications Online (UTGPO) is an online digital library providing permanent public access to publications produced by Utah state government including state agencies and those of its political subdivisions including counties, cities, districts, public universities, public colleges, and school districts. The scope of the collection also includes U.S. federal government publications about Utah and U.S. federal publications containing significant statistical data about Utah. The collection includes most born-digital state publications created since about 1994 and a growing number of digitized historical publications going back to the creation of the Territory of Utah in 1851. Utah Government Publications Online was created by an Act of the Utah Legislature in 2006 (Utah Code, Title 09, Chapter 07 - § 9-7-201 to 9-7-209). The Utah State Publications Archive-It Web Archives and the Utah Law Library are separate sub-collections.
